Port Authority of Thailand Goes Live with Navis N4

Navis announced that the Bangkok-based Port Authority of Thailand (PAT) has successfully completed its implementation of the N4 terminal system. With the goal of optimizing processes and tracking all activity in real-time, from quay to yard to CFS to the gate, N4 now allows the terminal to better serve its customers, meeting demands for up-to-the-minute cargo information and greater transparency around container activities.

Navis Partners with SUNY Maritime College

Navis has partnered with SUNY Maritime College to train undergraduate and graduate students on the N4 terminal operating system that manages more than 300 container terminals worldwide. Based on a typical two-week training session that customer ports undertake to get certified, The Maritime students received a condensed course to familiarize them with the program and expose them to potential career paths in the diverse maritime industry.

Navis to Launch New Online & Onsite Training Programs

In a dramatic step to significantly expand the scope and breadth of its TOS training, Navis will launch several new training offerings in the first quarter of 2018. Included in the launch will be the Navis Training Stack Academy, an online interactive training environment that will provide Navis users virtual reality training on all key aspects of the TOS product. In addition, Navis will roll out a series of operational end-user training courses, which can be customized to meet the unique needs of each Navis customer.
