Charles Gerard is VP of Customer Experience at Navis. He is responsible for the global support organization that is focused on providing exceptional service to more than 300 Navis clients. His focus is on establishing a strong regional leadership structure combined with front line managers and staff enabled to assist customers in maintaining stable and highly productive software environments and operations. Charles has more than 17 years of experience with Navis and has served as Project Manager, Regional Professional Services Manager, Account Manager and Director of Sales in APAC. He has managed Navis projects, clients, and global accounts worldwide and spent seven years living in Hong Kong building the APAC client base and organization.
Charles’ early career years were spent sailing as a licensed merchant marine engineering and deck officer on container vessels, tankers and LNG carriers. Just prior to joining Navis Charles was Program Manager for Pacific Basin Economic Council, an independent international business lobby advocating open trade, transparency and fair business practice throughout the Pacific region.
