Navis Appoints Chuck Schneider as General Manager to Oversee Growth and Success of Terminal Customers in Europe, Middle East and Africa

Navis, a part of Cargotec Corporation and provider of operational technologies and services that unlock greater performance and efficiency for the world’s leading organizations across the shipping supply chain, announced a change in regional leadership for the EMEA region, with the addition of Chuck Schneider as General Manager for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In this new role, Schneider will be responsible for sales, professional services and support in the EMEA region.

Schneider, who most recently served as General Manager, Americas, brings global, hands-on experience to his new role, with more than 11 years of deep technical expertise serving various positions at Navis. He first joined Navis as the VP of Custom Solutions where he expanded the company’s system integration capabilities and custom software development, including building the foundation for its automated terminals. In more recent years, he has provided the strategic guidance and industry know-how to the teams that successfully took DPW Antwerp, APMT Virginia and Long Beach Container Terminal live on Navis’ system.

“Navis is well established as a leader in EMEA , and as terminals and shipping lines continue to modernize and automate operations in that region and boost their impact in the global ocean supply chain, we’re confident that Chuck will help customers achieve their goals along the way,”  said Benoit de la Tour, President of Navis. “His commitment to delivering the best possible outcomes for our clients and years of first-hand technical experience make him a critical asset for our company as we continue to broaden relationships and product offerings globally.”

As part of this transition, Susan Gardner will manage North American sales in her new title of Sr. Director of Field Operations, North America and Martin Bardi will manage the LATAM region sales as VP of Field Operations.
