Navis Opens Voting for Inspire Awards and Announces Captain Richard Phillips as Navis World 2017 Keynote

Navis, a part of Cargotec Corporation and provider of operational technologies and services that unlock greater performance and efficiency for the world’s leading organizations across the shipping supply chain, today announced that Navis Inspire Awards voting is now open.

The Navis Inspire Awards, sponsored by Port Technology International, are designed to recognize and celebrate excellence across the ocean supply chain and Navis customers that are driving change in the industry. Online voting for the Inspire Awards is now open on the Navis Collaboration Center (NCC). To cast your vote, log on to the NCC and give your nominee a “kudo,” or thumbs up. There is no limit to the number of submissions you can vote for. The voting period will end on January 31, 2017.

Winners will be selected based on a combination of peer voting on the NCC and through final selection by the Navis and Port Technology International judging panel. Winners will then be honored during an awards luncheon during Navis World 2017 and recognized in Port Technology International. “The Navis Inspire Awards are all about celebrating the successes of our customers, who are constantly inspiring us in new ways by staying ahead of our constantly evolving industry,” said Andy Barrons, SVP and CMO, Navis. “We are thrilled by our customers’ response and participation, and are eager to see who comes out on top.”
