Navis Launches New Bluetracker Hull and Propeller Performance Monitoring Module

Navis today announced Hull Monitor, a new module for the fleet performance management software Bluetracker.  Hull Monitor tracks the degradation of the hull performance – resulting from self-polishing, fouling or damage – by way of speed loss calculations and visualizations, and correctively accounts for influencing factors such as weather (in accordance with ISO 19030).

North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven GmbH & Co. Upgrades to Navis N4 to Drive Key Improvements in Productivity, Reliability and Data Quality

Navis today announced that North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven GmbH & Co. (NTB) has successfully upgraded from Navis Express to the N4 terminal system. Due to effective project planning, preparation and collaboration with Navis, NTB went live with N4 3.1 on May 1, 2017 without disruption to the terminal’s high volume operations, and continues to perform optimally with the new system in place.

TPE PAITA Pursues Greater Terminal Efficiency, Relying on Navis N4 to Reduce Ship Wait Times and Length of Port Stays

Navis today announced that Terminales Portuarios Euroandinos Paita (TPE Paita), went live on Navis N4 2.6. TPE Paita chose to implement N4 to help identify and combat existing bottlenecks within the terminal – ultimately improving operations with increased gate productivity, greater visibility into yard operations and faster vessel processing.

South Asia Gateway Terminal Completes Implementation of N4 Terminal System

South Asia Gateway Terminal (SAGT) in the Port of Colombo, has successfully gone live with Navis’ N4 terminal system and N4 Billing. SAGT selected the Navis terminal system to better optimize existing operations with the ultimate goals of enhancing productivity year-over-year while providing customers with best-in-port service levels.

The maritime industry and broader ocean supply chain are suffering from major and costly inefficiencies due to ineffective data sharing and poor cross-industry collaboration, according to a new report and industry survey released today by the Business Performance Innovation (BPI) Network in coordination with Navis and XVELA, both part of Cargotec. Puerto Lirquen Terminal Improves Service Following Successful Upgrade to Navis N4

Navis  today announced that Puerto Lirquen has successfully completed a terminal system upgrade to Navis N4. After signing a licensing agreement for the Navis software in June 2016, the implementation was completed in less than eight months and resulted in zero down time or system errors, which has been recognized as a great success by the terminal’s customers.

Bluetracker MRV Software Solution Gains "MRV Ready" Certificate from DNV GL, Meeting All Requirements of New EU Regulations

The Navis Bluetracker monitoring and reporting software has been declared “MRV Ready,” following a Validation GAP Analysis Audit conducted by the classification society DNV GL. According to the validation report, the Bluetracker MRV module supports three of the prescribed four monitoring methods and collects all MRV-relevant data.

QQCTN, Asia’s First Fully Automated Terminal, Achieves the Highest Productivity in the World in its First Deep-Sea Vessel Operations

QQCTN, located in Qingdao, China, constructed its fully automated terminal in three and half years and went live commercially with its first deep-sea vessel call on May 11, 2017. The automation project consists of three phases.  The first phase covers two berths with 1.5 million TEU, while additional phases plan to automate a total of six berths and support 5.2 million TEUs in the future.

Steveco Vuosaari and Mussalo Reach Groundbreaking Milestones to Become First Container Terminals to Go Live with Navis N4 in the Cloud

Navis today announced that two Finland-based container terminals—Steveco Vuosaari (Helsinki) and Steveco Mussalo (Kotka)—have become the world’s first ports to successfully go live with N4 in a hosted private cloud environment following their March 25th go-lives. Steveco is one of Finland’s leading port operators and a full logistics provider offering large scale warehousing and stuffing services, sea and land freight, as well as 3PL services. With container terminals in both Kotka, near the Russian boarder, and in the capital city of Helsinki serving domestic import and exports, Steveco’s Vuosaari and Mussalo ports move a combined 750,000 TEUs annually.
